King’s Ely學校已超過1000年歷史，是全英國最古老的第七間英國寄學校; 位於英國劍橋北面的Ely市內有世界著名的Ely 教堂位置，環境優美，離倫敦約1小時火車程，學校可步行至Ely 火車站，交通便利。
King’s Ely是最早提供教育給男子唱詩班的學校。在11世紀，愛德華國王曾在這裡接受了教育，King’s 在整個歷史中都與Ely大教堂保持著密切的聯繫。1541年，亨利八世國王在伊利大教堂建立了一個教規學院，學校獲得了皇家憲章。整個學校的歷史過程中都是由國王及學者組成。King’s Ely於 1970年成為男女同校，1973年，英國女王伊麗莎白二世訪問了學校並成立了第一位女王學者。時至今天，學校已發展到近1,000名學生約10% 學生來自世界各地。
