University of Northampton位於英國中部的傳統田園鄉鎮Northampton，擁有Park及Avenue兩個校區。University of Northampton的研究實力是備受肯定的，在2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE)中便有商業管理、健康、教育、歷史、冶金與材料學、英文、戲劇、舞蹈與表演藝術、藝術與設計及亞洲研究這十個學科得到優秀的評價。Northampton是知名的皮鞋產地，而University of Northampton是唯一開設皮革技術(Leather Technology) 的英國大學，國際學生除了能透過大學基礎課程銜接皮革技術(Leather Technology) 學科外，亦可銜接其他獨特學科如時尚營銷(Fashion Marketing)及足部治療(Podiatry)。
