英國國際大一班 (International Year One)，又名大學文憑課程 (Diploma)，是專為海外學生設計來銜接英國大學二年級課程。為什麼學生要選擇此課程而不與英國人一起直接入讀大一學習呢？

原因有兩個：
第一，學生在自己本國所受的教育成績可能不符合直入英國大學的要求，但又不必從基礎班開始。

另一個原因是學生的學術成績己符合直入大學的要求，但英語成績未達入學所需的水準。

國際大一課程的學歷與大學一年級相等，是進入大學的另一途徑。 在修讀核心科目同時，還有大量的英語課堂來提高學生的英語能力。一般的文憑課程是與特定的大學群體有聯繫，只要成功地完成國際大一課程，就可以進入銜接的大學裡升讀大學學士學位二年級。

課程一般以小組教授及學生需必修海外生英語課, 英國文化課及學習技巧課 (Study Skills)，加強學生語言能力及學習技巧以便學生能投入及獨立應付銜接大二時的課程。

• 完成香港中六課程/IB/UKALE/AD/Higher Diploma
• 英文IELTS Academic for UKVI  5.5 – 6.0分
